The website form's own count, all 50 states

This page counts one thing only: the requests that came through the form on this website, 17 July 2026 to 17 August 2026. There were 40 of them across 18 states. It is a subset of total request volume, which runs at over 3,600 a year across every source, and the rest has no published per-state breakdown yet. Every state is in the table below, including every zero, because publishing only the states that produced something would be the dishonest version of this page.

How to read it

Each row counts submissions rather than people. 6 email addresses appear twice, so 40 submissions came from 32 people. 10 of the 32 days produced nothing callable at all. Minnesota includes one request that arrived with the state box empty and was resolved from its ZIP code.

This is a count inside a named window and nothing else. It is not divided by anything, it is not a monthly rate and it is not a forecast. The window also happens to be the deepest part of the spray season, so multiplying it by twelve would be wrong twice over.

Every exact acreage

17 of the 40 typed an exact figure rather than picking a band. The other 23 chose a range. Here is every figure that was typed, sorted.

1 2 2 9 10 10 18 20 26 30 42 50 99 100 125 200 280

Median, 26 acres.

What this page does not show

No farmer's name, phone number, email address or exact ZIP code appears here or anywhere else on this site, and no date finer than the window. With counts this small, a state and a week would be close to identifying somebody.

None of these requests has ever been routed to an operator. Two of them named a specific listed operator and asked for his quote, and neither reached him. That is a delivery record of nought for two, it is mine to correct, and all forty are being routed by hand, free, rather than sold.

The next recount runs 18 August to 17 September 2026. It is the first one measured on the rebuilt forms, which refuse any request arriving without a name, a phone number and a recorded consent, so the figure should come in under 40. It gets published here either way.
