Farmer requests from your state, and the count before you pay

Farmers ask me for spray quotes at more than 300 a month, across every source I run. That is over 3,600 a year.

That is my own count and you should treat it as mine until you have seen your own state's number, which I will send you free. My plans page tells you to make anybody in this business show you their count, and that cuts both ways.

What $497 a year buys

A place in the matched set

A place in the matched set for one state. A farmer in that state asks for a quote, and the whole request lands in your inbox.

Everything he typed

His ZIP, his crop, his acreage, what he wants treated, who supplies the chemical, when he needs it, his name, his phone number and the timestamp of his TCPA consent.

3 operators to a state, no more

You all get the same email in the same minute. That ceiling comes from a line already printed on the farmer’s own form.

What the jobs look like

The volume above is my own count across every source. This next part is narrower and harder: it is one month of the website form, 17 July 2026 to 17 August 2026, every row of it, so you can see the shape of the work rather than take my word for the size of it.

What they wanted treated

Pasture and rangeland16
Corn7
Cover crops5
Everything else12
Of 40 requests, 17 July 2026 to 17 August 2026.

Pasture and rangeland was the biggest single job type, ahead of corn.

If you only spray row crops, half this work is not for you. If you are set up for brush and pasture, most operators are not chasing it.

Which state each one came from is on the count page, and I will send you your own state's number free if you ask at the bottom.

Half these jobs are 26 acres or smaller

That is the number to argue with, not the annual total.

10 to 251002002801229101018202630425099100125200280median 26Every exact acreage a farmer typed, sorted. Acres.

At $12.00 an acre, the median rate in the 2026 Iowa State Custom Rate Survey, 26 acres is about $312 of application work. Most operators set a 10 to 25 acre minimum and a mobilisation fee before the drive pays for itself, so the middle of this list sits right on that line.

4 jobs ran to 100 acres or more, the biggest at 280.

Read the spread, because the total on its own tells you nothing.

What I will never tell you

How many requests your state produces next month.

There is no quota, no minimum and no forecast.

What share of them turn into work.

No agriculture-specific conversion figure is published anywhere, and I have never had one convert, because nothing has been routed to anybody yet.

Whether you see them first.

You do not. Everyone gets the same email at the same time.

Who should not buy this

Anyone whose state came up quiet.

Some states produced several and some produced none. Ask what yours did before you spend anything. It is free and it takes one line.

Anyone whose minimum job runs past 50 acres.

11 of the 17 exact acreages farmers typed came in under 50.

Anyone who needs it to pay back by a date.

It takes 42 acres of work to cover the year and the median request ran 26. I cannot tell you when a bigger one turns up.

Here is the opinion that costs me the sale. Most of you would book more acres this season by ringing the three biggest farms within twenty miles of your hangar than by waiting on requests to arrive in your inbox. This is worth $497 when you are already listed here and reading an email costs you nothing. It is not worth $497 as a plan for finding work.

How it works

1

Pay for your state.

Once a year. Cancel any time, no phone call.

2

Tell me your counties.

The directory records your state and nothing finer, so a 9-acre pasture two counties away is a judgement I cannot make for you.

3

You go on the roster.

It is public, so you can check it before you pay.

Questions

Can I buy more than one state?

Yes. One each, 3 operators to a state.

What happens to my free listing?

Nothing. It stays up whether you pay or not.

Do you take a cut?

No. You set your price and you keep it.

Can I get a refund?

Thirty days, any reason, in full.

What about the requests you already have?

Not for sale. The consent record does not store what those farmers actually agreed to, so I am handing them to listed Part 137 applicators near them for free.

Why $497?

I set it. Here is the arithmetic rather than a reason. At the $12 an acre median it takes 42 acres of work to cover the year. The median request here ran 26 acres, so one typical job does not cover it.

Not sure? Check your state first.

Tell me which state you fly in. I will email you how many requests came from it.

It is free and it is not a purchase. Some states produced several and some produced none, so find out which yours is before you spend $497.

I recount every month. Ask once and you get the new number each time, whatever it says. The next one covers 18 August to 17 September 2026.

What do you want?

This is a question, not a purchase. Sending it reserves nothing and charges nothing. By sending it you agree we may email or call you about it. Your details stay with us and are never resold.
